Officer Johnson was walking his beat in the neighborhood and smelled the fumes of marijuana flowing through an open window in Rob's house. Officer Johnson walked to the front door, knocked and announced his presence, and immediately entered as he heard toilets flushing and a garbage disposal being operated. As he walked into the front room he saw Rob running with a baggie full of marijuana and ordered him to stop. Rob complied and then Officer Johnson arrested Rob and proceeded to do a full-body search of Rob. Officer Johnson seized the baggie of marijuana and found several marijuana joints in his pockets. Officer Johnson then opened the drawers of a desk located about two feet from where Rob was standing and discovered a Tupperware bowl full of marijuana. On the other side of the room, Officer Johnson observed what appeared to be baggies of cocaine on a table. He opened one of the baggies and tasted the powder to verify that it was cocaine.
