On 1 December 2019, Abigail visits KitchenItaly Ltd, a kitchen store in London, where she finds on display a kitchen she likes. The cupboards and drawer units are the "Florence" design and the countertops are labelled as "Milan". Abigail opens the cupboards and inspects the quality of the material. She also feels the countertop. Based on the way the kitchen units and the countertop look and feel, she decides to place an order for "Florence 5 cupboard and 5 drawers, and Milan countertop". Unknown to Abigail, the display model is in fact "Florence (ivory) and Milan (black marble)"; the order form does not indicate this.

Abigail pays 5000 upfront for the kitchen and an extra 500 for installation (5500 in total). KitchenItaly Ltd promises Abigail that the new kitchen will be installed at her property KitchenItaly 15 January 2020.

KitchenItaly Ltd calls Abigail on 10 January 2020 to say that the kitchen units and countertop will be delivered on 14 January 2020, which they are.

KitchenItaly Ltd sends installers to Abigail's property on 20 January 2020 to install the new kitchen. After some difficulty, the installers finish the job on 22 January 2020. When Abigail tries out her new kitchen on the following day, 23 January 2020, she finds that the quality of the units and countertop to be poor; it does not match what she saw in store. Also, the colour of the cupboards is white, not ivory; and the countertop has very little marble effect. When she opens a drawer, it falls out onto the floor and breaks into pieces.

Advise the parties assuming Abigail is a non-consumer buyer who uses her property to let.
