On a concluding note, as stated in Kaye (1991) there is no tort for a breach of privacy. There is, however, rules to protect one's privacy and stop misuse of private information. Throughout the years, the courts have set numerous precedents and judgements to provide for breaches of confidence. It is now for the parliament to approve the tort of privacy in English law
