On Jan 9, 2010 Rebecca White and T-Gain entered into a written contract whereby Rebecca, a singer, agreed to perform at T-Gain's Las Vegas Resort Hotel for the week of July 1-7, 2010. T-Gain agreed to pay Rebecca the sum of $25,000 for performing. In early May, Rebecca had a hit single that went viral and made her an overnight star who could command a least $75,000 for a one week engagement. On June 1st, Rebecca's eighteenth birthday, she telephoned T-Gain and demanded an increase of $50,000 for her July 1-7 performances. T-Gain said, "a deal is a deal" and would not agree to pay Rebecca more than the previously agreed sum of $25,000. Rebecca refuses to perform claiming that she was entitled to refuse to perform and T-Gain sues her. Who wins and why?
