On January 13, 2017, while walking to the Harvard Law School building from the parking lot in Cambridge, MA, Peter (Plaintiff), who is a law student, slips and falls on a hot dog tossed on the ground by Dennis (Defendant), who is working at a hot dog stand on the sidewalk. Peter suffers a broken leg as well as a fractured hip as the result of the slip and fall. As a result of his injuries, he will walk with a limp for life.
