On May 25^th2020, Amy Cooper was captured on video calling the police after Christian Cooper, a bird watcher, asked her to keep her dog on a leash in Central Park. In the call to police, Amy Cooper stated that she was in Central Park and that an African American man was threatening her life. The video was uploaded to social media and provoked huge public reaction. Some say that Amy Cooper should be severely punished for her actions, others believe she has already suffered enough - public humiliation, the loss of her job and the loss of her pet.Amy Cooper now faces criminal prosecution for making a false call to police.

What should happen to Amy Cooper? Do criminal charges send an important message about racist conduct and misuse of police? Might criminal charges send the wrong message?
