The police were called to the store where Igor stated that he saw Mary take the candy and hid it under her child. "Q" Mart also called the news media and took out ads supporting their position. At criminal court the criminal case against Mary was dismissed when witnesses testified that Mary took no candy and knew nothing of what her 4 year old son had done.
