On September 3, 2000, Janice was in grade 11 of high school when she was hired part-time to do retail sales for Evangelista Fashion Outlet. Janice has stayed with the company for almost 22years and continued as a part-time worker because the company gives great stock options and bonuses for high sales employees. When Janice first started she agreed to work Sundays 9am to 5pm but Janice is getting really tired of working every Sunday.

Today is Friday at 2pm, Janice works today at her part-time job tonight from 5pm to 9pm. She just walked into your paralegal office for your legal advice on whether she is allowed today to tell her boss that effective immediately she will no longer be working Sundays and she won't be in to work her shift this coming Sunday.

27. Based on SCENARIO 2, What is your advice to Janice? As part of your answer, ensure you advise why or why she must work the coming Sunday shift. (5 marks)
