On the front of the check, Ken Weston wrote pay to the order of Lisa Smith for $700 because she gave him lessons for Professor Aarons' class. Ken signs his name in the lower right corner on the front of the check. Lisa's best friend Broke Becky stole the check from her purse and then on the back forged Lisa Smith's signature and indorsed it ( by saying pay to the order of) over to Mary Torres to for a leather jacket she bought from Mary Torres' clothing store. Mary Torres signs the back of the check and indorsed it over to mechanic Quack Duck for fixing her car.
