One Bad Choice The MTV series "One Bad Choice", profiles young people who have made a single, terrible decision that irrevocably changed their lives. In October of 2012, Levi Sparks, along with four other friends, participated in a botched home invasion robbery that turned deadly. None of the perpetrators were armed during the invasion; their intention was to commit a robbery. When the friends entered the house, the homeowner was startled and shot one of them to death. Sparks, however, was not present at the scene of the crime, but was charged with murder for his alleged participation as a "lookout". Sparks claims that he never agreed to be the look-out, although he held onto a friend's keys and phone in case he needed to "alert them that someone was coming".
