One : Baseball Salaries (Thanks to Connie Vogelmann for compiling this data). Data on CANVAS (Baseball Salaries.xlsx or Baseball Salaries.MTW) includes 2016 players who were not pitchers, played in at least 80 games, and had salaries of more than $750,000 (it excludes 48 players with base salaries of around $500,000). Your goal is to fit a regression model predicting player SALARY (you'll probably want to transform this response variable - think natural logs). Other variables included (i.e. possible predictors, both continuous and categorical)
