One of the major economic issues facing the economy is the federal budget. The federal government has run deficits in most years going back to the Great Depression in the 1930s. What factors or causes you think lead to these deficits? Do you think deficits are inherently bad for the economy, why or why not? what changes you would recommend to the federal budget to address issues of the debt and deficits?
