One of the most important Title VII civil rights cases is Mcdonnell Douglas Corp. v. Green, 411 U.S. 792 (1973). This case basically established what the burden of proof must be in order for someone to prove discrimination. Like most lawsuits, this case started out with a disgruntled employee, Percy Green. Mr. Green claimed that his employer, McDonnel-Douglas, had discriminated against him based on his race. This assignment will take you through the long legal history of this case.
