One of your employees tells you that he has to report in 3 days to be deployed by the National Guard. This will severely impact your ability to meet a deadline for a major client. What can you legally do?

a. You can file an emergency appeal for undue hardship, and if successful, this employee will not be deployed.

b. He must report for duty, but you can terminate him and hire someone to replace him

c. You cannot terminate him, but you can hire a replacement, and then reinstate him to any other open position upon his return.

d. You cant do much of anything. You cannot terminate him, and you have to reinstate him to at least an equivalent position upon his return.
