(i) A value with the least significant byte of the word unchanged and the rest of the bytes zeroed (0x00000021)

(ii) All but the least significant byte of x complemented and the least significant byte unchanged (0x789ABC21)

(iii) the least significant byte set all ones and the rest of the bytes unchanged (0x876543FF).
