1. Belady's anomaly states that for some page replacement algorithms the page-fault rate may increase as the number of allocated frames increase. This does not happen if the algorithm is a stack algorithm. Explain the concept of a stack algorithm for page replacement. Is FIFO a stack algorithm? Is LRU a stack algorithm?
