opic: Humana & Aetna courses/1843578/discussion topics/8610321 I'm sure you are aware that Aetna Insurance Company of Connecticut was proposing to merge with Humana of Louisville, but a federal judge blocked the merger a few months ago on antitrust grounds, and both companies have called off the proposal (at least for now), although it is rumored that Humana is still making itself available for a buyout; and has also announced it would like to takeover Kindred Healthcare. Actually, these questions can be answered concerning any large corporate merger. The issues are not unique to Humana. I want to hear your views/thoughts on this proposal. Is it good/is it bad?
