Job satisfaction is your overall attitude or feeling towards your job. It is affected by the workplace atmosphere and environment. For example, employees that work in an environment where they not valued or appreciated tend to have a negative outlook which could lead to a high employee turnover rate. There are also other factors that can have a more positive impact such as benefits or career growth incentives. Members of the workforce typically like an atmosphere they grow in and a company that can meet their needs. Another factor is social interaction, generally everyone would like to social with their coworkers and feel like they have a voice. As long as there is acknowledgement and the expectations are met, everyone is generally satisfied.
