"Optimizing Global Supply Chain Management in the Age of COVID-19"

Overview:

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to global supply chain management. This project will explore strategies for optimizing supply chain management in the face of COVID-19, with a particular focus on resilience, agility, and sustainability.

Objectives:

Identify the key challenges that global supply chains are still facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including disruptions to production, transportation, and logistics.

Analyze existing strategies and technologies that organizations are using to manage these challenges, such as real-time supply chain visibility, digital twins, and block chain.

Evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies and technologies in terms of resilience, agility, and sustainability, and identify areas for improvement.

Develop recommendations for optimizing global supply chain management in the age the Post COVID-era, considering factors such as risk management, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

Deliverables:

A literature review summarizing the current state of global supply chain management and the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. For this you can review the existing Research articles - Refer to Google Scholar

A set of recommendations for optimizing global supply chain management in the age of COVID-19, including a detailed action plan for implementing those recommendations.

Resources:

Students can access to relevant academic journals, industry reports, and case studies related to global supply chain management and the COVID-19 pandemic

Structure of the Report:

1. Title Page: This should include the project title and the name of the Student, Class Group No.and Student ID. You will also list the name of your Instructor.

2. Abstract: The abstract is a very brief summary of the report's contents. It should be about half a page long.

3. Acknowledgements: Thank the individuals who assisted you in making the project, including the Instructor.

4. Contents: List the main Chapters with the page numbers.

5. Introduction: This is one of the most important components of the report. It should begin with a clear statement of what the project is about so that the nature and scope of the project can be understood by a lay reader. This is the 1st Chapter. 500-700 words

6. Research Literature: Review relevant articles, summarizing the current state of global supply chain management and the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will cover the first deliverable. This will be the 2nd Chapter.700-1000 words

7. Body/Recommendations: The central part of the report usually about the technical work undertaken during the project. In case of this project, it will be the recommendations (covering the second deliverable in 700-1000 words)

8. Conclusion: The project's conclusions will be about the way ahead/future of Global Supply Chain Management (in 600-800 words)

9. Bibliography/References: This consists of a list of all the books, articles, manuals etc. used in the project and referred to in the report. You should provide enough information to allow the reader to find the source.
