Organization charts are a graphic representation of the structure of an organization showing the relationships of the positions within the organization. In this assignment, you will have the opportunity to create an organizational chart, mission, vision statement, and policy for a Health Information Management Department. The healthcare organization is a 200-bed acute care hospital. The Health Information Management (HIM)Department has 15 employees.

Your assignment requires the following:

• Identify the name of your health care organization
• Create a mission statement (see p. 533)
• Create a vision statement (see p. 533)
• Identify the 15 employees and their roles in the HIM Department (name and role) such as John Doe, Coder
• Create an organization chart use SmartArt in Word
• Write a policy and procedure for a task the HIM Department would perform. (see p. 534)
• After creating the organization chart, create a separate table identifying the employee, their title, one negative and one positive job characteristic. Then address each strength and weakness for each person. See example below
