As an outcome of the "Selection Phase," an optimized portfolio of projects is moved into the "implementation phase." These projects may be received with resistance by stakeholders who are impacted by these initiatives. As an example, if one of the projects was to introduce automation to an existing process, staff who are comfortable with the manual processes may resist this change as they may need to learn a new approach.
