Organizational culture is an important thing that leaders need to monitor. Organizational culture is based on the perspectives, beliefs, and standards of an organization. It is how individuals in an organization mutually work together and support each other (Huang et al., 2024). One of the ways that you can monitor your organization's culture is to be involved in the work alongside the individuals you are leading. If you are "in the trenches" with the fellow workers it will be hard for them to hide the culture. Some people will say that this will lead to the culture being "fake" and only intrinsically motivated. While this can happen, the way to avoid this is to recruit good workers underneath you that understand and buy into the culture. When you have individuals that do that, they will hold others accountable to the culture and allow the culture to flourish. To make sure that the culture is aligned to the ethics policy, a leader must not only work side by side with his followers, but he also much recruit leaders who will hold the others accountable
