Organizational leaders can never assume to know how their team is motivated and engaged. Additionally, it is important that organizational leaders "inspect what they expect" to measure the motivational impact of new initiatives, programs, and policies. The easiest and quickest way to gather, measure, and assess motivation is by using online survey tools. Therefore, you will create an interactive survey (must be linked and virtually available) assessing how your peers are motivated both intrinsically and extrinsically.
Create any mixture of true/false, multiple choice, Likert scale, or short-answer questions. However, consider the quantitative and qualitative feedback/data each type would provide and how each would inform you (and help you answer the questions for the competency assessment task for the module). Please include a minimum of 5 questions.
Initial Post Instructions
- Create an online survey. Examples of online options include Google forms, SurveyMonkey, and Qualtrics. Just be sure to choose a free option.
- Share the survey link in the discussion post (make sure the link works and takes peers to the survey to complete- not to collaborate on survey creation). See some examples below.
