Organizational Structure Question: "ABC" is a 20-year-old company in the electronics industry in the

US. Although it had more than 20,000 employees and 18% of the market share in September 2018, it

has been seriously struggling to keep that edge since then. Two main competitors have been closing in,

rapidly stealing the market share. By April 2020, ABC's market share has dropped to 10%, leaving the

company with extremely low sales figures, and hence, increasing uncovered costs. By now, everyone

including ABC's high-level executives have recognized the urgency of an organizational structure

change. Options include narrowing the span of control in the company (tall structure), or widening the

span of control in the company (flat structure). Which would you suggest for ABC to put into motion? Be
