Original Question - In Chapter 12, you read about creativity. What are some of the creative processes you have used in the past? What processes has your team used to solve some of the problems the team has faced?

Initial Post - In Chapter 12 we explored the concept of creativity which helped shed light on various creative processes that individuals and teams can use to tackle challenges and create innovative solutions. Reflecting on my own past experiences I've engaged in brainstorming sessions as a primary creative process and have also witnessed my current team utilizing electronic and hybrid brainstorming techniques to overcome obstacles effectively. Brainstorming which is a classic technique for generating ideas in a group setting. In past meetings team members gathered to generate a variety of ideas without judgment or criticism. This allowed and encouraged team members to think outside the box and explore unconventional solutions to problems. I have found brainstorming to be particularly effective in sparking creativity as it allows for fast, diverse ideas, and different perspectives. As for my current team we've encountered the challenge of coordinating meetings due to the online nature of our class and the diverse schedules of team members. To assist us in the obstacle we turned to electronic brainstorming as a solution. Electronic brainstorming enabled us to collaborate virtually regardless of location or time constraints. Though virtual platforms team members were able to contribute ideas whenever they had a chance, allowing for flexibility and accommodating everyone's availability. Technically, our team also used a hybrid brainstorming to leverage the benefits of both "in-person" and virtual collaboration. We utilized video conferencing to conduct real time discussions or "in-person" discussions while using electronic platforms for anytime idea generation. These creative processes have enabled us to effectively tackle challenges, generate innovative solutions, and collaborate despite the constraints of time and distance.
