1. Describe why this layer is important for networking, including examples of network related protocols that are associated with this layer.

2. Discuss why the layer is significant to software development/programming. What does the programmer need to know about this layer when writing network aware applications?

3. It makes sense that cybersecurity threats can happen at any layer. Data is entered into the network through software. It then travels through all the layers. Each layer has its own protocols and other communication standards that govern its efficient operation. So where does security fit in? Discuss what the role of this layer is in cyber-security (i.e. How does this layer handle security?, what are some security implications in this layer, etc)
