Our last discussion of the semester is about....aliens. In this discussion please answer the two questions found below in a new post in the forum. Then discuss by creating a reply to at least two other classmates posts. This is not a discussion about conspiracy theories or that ridiculous program on the History channel "Ancient Aliens." If anyone even goes there I will give you a zero for this discussion.

Do you think intelligent life is even likely to exist at all in our galaxy? If so$,$ how do you think "aliens" might be detected? $($Some might say it doesn't exist even here on Earth but I think perhaps that is a bit cynical.$)$ Explain. $+4$ points

If it is found that life does exist and manages to swing around here for a meet and greet who does you think should speak for the Earth? $($It can be one or more people and they have to be alive..be serious!$)+4$ points
