Good morning everyone! I am pleased to provide you guys with very exciting news. Our old benefits package that barely covered anything will expire next month! Everyone will continue to use the old benefits until the package expires. The new package will take effect as soon as the old one is gone. The great thing about this new provider our company is using is that it offers different coverage packages. This memo is meant to provide you with the information and details you need to sign up for a new benefits package. By reading this memo, you will learn about a few options including single person plan, family plan, and options to increase certain benefits like increased coverage for prescription drugs, eyeglasses, and even orthodontic coverage for those who would like to straighten their teeth, or their kids teeth. Our old package was terrible and didnt include these options. Avoid another disappointment and choose a package and add on extra benefits if you want them! A price list is in the Human Resources HR office. Go and check the prices before you pick. Once you decide, fill out the forms and submit them by the end of the month. Ask Jody Wills if you have questions about any of this. Payroll will deduct the costs of your benefits choices. You must approve these deductions. You can opt out, if you want to but I think that would be a terrible mistake. Anyway, if you dont want coverage, you gotta tell us or a default basic single plan will be assigned to you. You can ask HR all about it on Fridays.
