The case study is about an entrepreneur, Billy McFarland and a rapper, Ja Rule who planned together to create a huge music festival in the Bahamas named Fyre Festival. This happened in 2017 where they spent eight weeks in order to plan for the festival that offers nothing of what they have advertised or planned. It was supposed to be held in a small, private island of Normans Cay and the island was known as had once belonged to Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar where they used the statement in order to attract people for the event in which they have breached the promised to not disclose about it which leads to the cancellation of the deal. By that, they moved to Roker Point on Great Exuma where the location was at an unfinished housing development. It disappointed a lot of parties in which it turned out the festival was documented widely about how disaster it was. Thousands of media such as news articles and social media were talking about the event as it was such a huge failure that anyone could ever have imagined.

1. The private island of Normans Cay in the Bahamas lacks basic infrastructure deeming the location to be unsuitable for the festival - may possibly host on the cruise - when the islands unsuitability was raised by Linde, McFarland removed him from the project (shady).

2. The festival ended up being moved to another island in the Bahamas, however the festival was still promoted to take place on Normans Cay - the new location was also dodgy as it was an unfinished housing development, still under construction, edged by steep drops into a water basin (extremely dangerous in general, but also consider the fact it will be late, dark, most people will be drinking and others may be tired or distracted).
