You are to choose a Product for Export, your export country, and the import country. Furthermore, you are to research the different elements of the requirements for Costs & Pricing and Risks Analysis & Mangement in this International Export Transaction.

Please submit the assignment in Blackboard in MS. Word on based upon the due date noted on Blackboard

Font: Times New Roman/Arial, 12 pt. double spaced.

The report must not exceed 6 pages (excluding title page, table of contents, appendices, and bibliography). Note: There is a deduction of marks for exceeding the page limit.

Report Structure

Your report shall contain the following components:

Table of Contents: this should include all the main sections and list the appendices.

Executive Summary:

Introduction: this should describe the context for the research and the business problem or question.

Costing and Pricing Analysis: this should show what the various costs and pricing analysis

Risk Analysis and Management: this should highlight the key findings, supported by factual data, as they relate to the research objectives.

Recommendation and action plan: this should provide guidance as to the action the company should take, based on the objectives.

References and Appendices: All references are to be footnoted and appendices, in alphabetical order, in APA style. Provide outside justification for the information contained in the body of the report. Include Appendix titles in the Table of Contents. Avoid direct downloads of data from the Internet.

Bibliography: Demonstrate the time and effort spent on research by providing a sound bibliography. List all sources used in the preparation of your research plan (APA Format).

Logic and Analysis of Data

As a researcher, you will transform the data collected into information that can be used in assessing the impact on the issues in the research plan. Charts and statistical analysis may be presented to show trends, forecasts, and estimates. The analysis carried out in the report will become the foundation for the decisions that will appear in the recommendations and action plan. You should ensure that the analysis is relevant to the key issues/risks being addressed of doing business between your import and export countries.

Overall Format of the International Export Research

Pay attention to spelling and grammar. The plan must be clearly written and not lead to confusion. When using statistics or information from outside sources, footnote the information on the page where the information is used. The occasional use of pictures, tables or graphs is recommended (for illustration purposes) and helps with the visual appeal. Remember that you are being assessed on your knowledge of the principles of the research and your ability to demonstrate your understanding through the Research Plan.
