This assignment provides you with an opportunity to demonstrate the development and achievement of the following course learning outcomes:

• Identify and discuss the key issues/challenges in the case.
• Identify the stakeholders and state how they are affected.
• What Canadian legislation applies to the identified key issues?
• What remedial measures should HR take to ensure compliance with the identified key issues? State how each proposed solution should be implemented.
• In addition to your textbook, provide at least three researched sources (not Wikipedia) to support your proposed solutions.

LATE SUBMISSION POLICY

Late submissions will be penalized 5% per day (including weekends and holidays) up to five (5) days past the due date. After five days, no further assignments will be accepted, and a grade of zero (0) will be assigned for the course work item unless otherwise specified by the instructor. Requests for extensions must be submitted to the instructor before the assignment due date. Extensions are permitted for exceptional circumstances only; supporting documentation may be requested.
