a product containing 54%I2 and 46%H2O by mass. The waste stream taken from the separator contains
H2O,MnSO4,Na2SO4 and inert substances. The unreacted Nal and H2SO4 are taken from the separator
and fed back to the reactor. Considering that the seaweed contains 5%NaI,30%H2O and 65% inert
substances by mass and the reaction occurs at a single pass conversion of 80%.
