Many experiments require repeated trials in an effort to reduce uncertainty in

measurements recorded.

Sorting this data can be challenging.

Fortunately most of us

have access to some sort of spreadsheet software (like Excel) that can not only sort the

data, but also provide all of the necessary statistics needed to determine the overall

uncertainty over many trials.

Using programs like Excel to gather these statistics, perform calculations, and create

graphs can be extremely advantageous to the budding scientist
