Vanadium cannot have more than 37% lead and must have at least 50% Tin These will be manufactured using three different inputs- Alloy 1, Alloy 2 and Alloy 3. Ingredient Cost per 1b Tin Zinc Lead 80 cents Alloy 1 45% 20% 20% 72 cents Alloy 2 60% 35% 25% 45 cents Alloy 3 20% 30% 50% Nucor has access to 1 1000 pounds of Alloy 1, 9500 pounds of Alloy 2 and 10250 pounds of Alloy 3. In order to e new products must be made up of Alloy 3. Nucor has received meet safety standards at least 19% of each of the new orders for 12200 pounds of Chromium, 3500 pounds of Cobalt and 2500 pounds of Vanadium. Formulate a Linear Programming model that will minimize cost for Nucor
