Does the evidence suggest a relationship between political interest and perceptions of government wastefulness? PART 2: Difference of Means The following is public opinion data, taken from the 2020 ANES, measuring attitudes toward Dr. Anthony Fauci. Attitudes toward Fauci are measured using a feeling thermometer (0 degrees is very cold, 100 is very warm, and 50 is neither warm nor cold). The following are summary statistics by partisan identification (Democrat, Republican, or Independent):
