Part 1: Film Marbury v. Madison

1. Suppose the federal courts did not have the power of judicial review. Instead, all acts of Congress and the president would be considered constitutional. How would this change our system of government? Would you favor such a change?
2. In the film, was the Court right in making the choice it did? Why or why not?

For years the Supreme Court was known as the least dangerous branch. However, some today might call it the most dangerous. Suggest two or three reforms that would limit the Court's power in the political system and explain how each would function.
