Part 1: Job Design and The Job Characteristics Model

Rate each of the jobs below using the Job Diagnostic Survey that follows the four job descriptions. Then, calculate a Motivating Potential Score (MPS) for each job. You will need to use the average score for each dimension when calculating the MPS since each dimension requires you to answer 3 questions. Assume you are the person in the job. Each job's MPS will lie between 1 and 343. Do you consider the job to be high, medium, or low in it's motivating potential? List the jobs along with their MPS scores from highest to lowest.
