4. Create a new line below the last line in the file and enter your name and CWID

5. Change the word Verona to Venice

6. Replace all spaces in the file with underscores

7. Enable line number display at the left edge of the window

8. Place the cursor at the beginning of the 4th instance (counting from the beginning of the file) of

the word of in the file

9. Take a screenshot of the terminal window showing all text in the file (note: make sure that the

text is readable and the cursor location is clearly visible)

10. Save the modified file as play2.txt in your home directory and exit vi

11. Execute the command exactly as shown here (without quotes): whoami; date; cat

~/play2.txt

12. Take a screenshot of the terminal window showing all of the outputs of step 11 above

1. Download the GNUChess package from https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Chess

2. Unzip the package

3. Build and install the package to your home directory (note: you must build it to your home

directory successfully or the later steps wont work)

4. Take a screenshot of the terminal window showing step 3 above completed successfully

5. Execute the command exactly as shown here (without quotes): whoami; date;

~/bin/gnuchess

6. When prompted for a move enter (without quotes) e4

7. Wait for the computer to make its move

8. When its your move again take a screenshot of the terminal window showing all the outputs
