Part 1 & Part 2 - Use the drawings provided for a Proposed Custom Duplex. SCENARIO The block currently houses a brick and tile residence with a drive way through a carport which leads to a garage. The block is located in a high risk termite area opposite a large national park. The Duplex is to be converted to steel framing and change the flooring from sheet ply flooring to tongue and grove floor boards. This exercise is in 2 Parts: Part 1 - Is to identify the relevant Legislation, Regulations, Standards and Building Codes Part 2 - Is to compile a report regarding how you comply with the Deemed to Satisfy provisions of the National Construction Code for changes in the framing and flooring from timber to steel framing and sheet ply flooring to tongue and grove floor boards
