Review the following situations and answer the questions below :

1. A group member fails to complete their assigned tasks and other members have to pick up the slack.
2. A group member is constantly checking their phone during meetings. This results in the member not contributing to meetings and being confused about the group project.
3. A group member fails to respond to text messages and emails.
4. A group member has been late to the last 3 group video conference meetings. This is the only concerning behavior from the group member.
5. A group member likes to socialize during group meetings. At times this relieves group tension and other times it results in group meetings getting off track.

Answer the questions:

1. Identify the group member's role foreachsituation above (Ch 9.4). Why do you identify it as that, provide reasons? (Use textbook definitions)

2. Then identify ONE strategy for how you could addresseachsituation and your reasoning for doing so.
