Part 2: Hands-on question

you will use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate the cost of using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services based on the following scenario:

• You would like to run an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) Linux instance for an average of 10 hours per day, 7 days per week in the us-west-2 Region. You want to use the t2.medium instance type, and you don't want to pay any upfront costs for the instance.
• You would also like to store 100 GB of data in an Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket in the us-west-2 Region by using the S3 Standard storage class. You anticipate 500 requests per month to access the data from the internet.
• You will use the Pricing Calculator to choose a service and then configure the service. You will create an estimate that accounts for the use of multiple AWS services. As you add and configure different services, the upfront cost, monthly cost, and total 12-month cost estimate will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
