Technology. Access a videotape or webcast of a recently delivered speech on a business-related subject that is of interest to you. The library at your school is a good resource for videotaped speeches, and the following URLs have current webcasts available: http://webcast.oii.ox.ac.uk/

?view=Browse and http://www.microsoft.com/events/executives/webcasts.mspx. Observe the voice qualities and speech techniques that are used as well as the presence that the speaker projects.

Write your instructor an e-mail that includes the source information for the speech, the oral communication qualities and techniques you observed, and your critique of the speaker’s delivery

(keep in mind that some pauses in the transmission of a webcast would not have been seen in person; they are due to the transmission of the webcast). (Objectives 1, 2, and 3)
