If more muffins are produced than demanded, excess or leftover will occur. If less muffins are produced than demanded, loss of sale will occur. For every leftover Muffin, MTG is able to resale the Muffins for $1 each. For each unit of unmet demand, you estimated a loss of sale cost of $2 each.
