This is focuses on the iwi, Waikato-Tainui, and requires you to identify and discuss

several areas of change and innovation that have taken place over the past 20 years.

Your task is to carry out research on selected areas outlined in this assessment.

TASKS:

3.0 Identify and briefly discuss a minimum of five specific changes and innovations at

the Base and the Ruakura Superhub introduced by Waikato Tainui and TGH in its

operations and business models. 15 marks

3.1 A description of how the innovations has contributed to change and enhanced

business performance for Waikato-Tainui and for its external stakeholders

3.2 The application of three frameworks that shows how an organisation can support

change and innovation. This requires a brief description of the frameworks and the

organisational processes required for these frameworks to be applied to

organisations such as Waikato-Tainui.

3.3 Recommendations for organisations that wish to adopt the innovative models

developed by Waikato-Tainui. Identify a minimum of three recommendations. You

should select at least one recommendation from each of the two Waikato-Tainui

initiatives discussed in your assignment.
