While this deposit was properly recorded in the Company's books as of May 31", the amount did not appear on the May 31, 2018 bank statement. An NSF check for $800 originally received from customer J. Flake in payment of his account was returned by the bank. The Company had not previously recorded its return. As of May 31, 2018, three checks had been written and properly recorded on the Company's books However, these checks did not appear on the bank statement.
