Create a mosaic (colored pattern or picture) on the 10 by 10 grid on the Mosaic worksheet. You must use at least 5 colors. (Worksheet courtesy of Christina Bower) 2. List all of the colors used in the chart and the number of squares that are filled with that color. 3. Finish filling out the chart by figuring out the fraction of each color in your picture. Make sure to reduce all fractions. Then convert each fraction to a decimal and a percent. 4. Fill in the missing information on the chart on the second page of the Mosaic worksheet. Part B - Internet Research Directions: The internet is a wonderful way to find new ideas to use in the classroom. For each of the items below, you will find one internet site. Copy the URL into your document and then answer any additional information that is asked for. (please see examples for format.) Please keep paragraph to 3 - 5 sentences. For #1-3, pick a concept that we have covered DURING THIS SEMESTER so far. 1. Lesson plan site - Find a lesson that covers the concept you picked. Write a paragraph on why you picked that lesson and what you liked about it. 2. Worksheet site - Pick a worksheet that could have been used with the lesson plan from #1.
