To explore newer opportunities in the global markets, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and HSBC
will collaborate to help export Bangladesh's culture and heritage. An agreement was signed in this regard on Monday. Rubana Huq, BGMEA president, and Md Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The BGMEA recently launched "Go Human, Go Green", with seven pledges to make a difference to the livelihood of garment workers, community and environment. One of them is the pledge to culture export of Bangladesh, under which BGMEA aims to explore the opportunity of exporting Bangladeshi apparel by linking the country's rich culture and heritage with fashion."
