Part B: Values in School Policies, Programs, and Practices: The second step in selecting a topic is for candidates to critique the school policy listed in Part A. Candidates will critique the policies, programs, and practices in regard to the values or lack thereof inherent in them specifically the values of social justice, equity, confidentiality, acceptance, and respect between and among students and faculty within the school. For Part B, discuss how the policy in Part A would/could be amended to avoid potential litigation. Be sure to consider social justice, equity, confidentiality, acceptance, and/or respect between and among students and faculty. For Part B: Upholding Values, discuss how you can uphold values in the face of adversity. Consider how this amended policy will serve the greater good for the school community.
