Part C : The effect of the amount of charge and the force of electrostatics 3 pith balls of identical size and mass are used in an experiment to investigate the effect of changing the product of charges in a system on the electrostatic force. A hanging Pith ball is charged by conduction with a charged pithbal on a wand so that each initial has the same charge. The charged wand pith ball is then placed at the designated radius . The electrostatic force has been analyzed from the angle of deflection of the hanging pith ball. To charge the charge on the hanging pith ball a neutral pith ball on a wand is touched with the hanging ball. They share charge this the hanging pith ball row has half the original charge. The results wereas follows : Table 2: The electrostatic force as function of the product of charges Charge on the wand Relative charge on Product of the Force betweenthe pithbal, q, the suspended pith charges, 4 A: charges, Fa, (N) bal, 4; 1 1 0.320 12 0.160 14 14 0.080 1/8 1/6 0.040 1 1/16 1/16 0.020 Using graphical analysis techniques confirm that these results support Coulomb's Law. O Be sure to describe Coulomb's law and the expected graphical relationship O Using the data find a meaningful Mathematical relationship between Force and Charge and discuss the meaning of the slope
