Part I: Comparison of Daily Horoscopes

Data collection:

Using any source of daily horoscopes that you choose, collect at least 5 daily horoscopes that correspond to your birthday (7/5/2001)for a specific date. Doing a google search for "daily horoscope" will get you dozens of sites to choose from. Note that many websites use the same sources for their horoscopes; make sure you don't get any duplicates. Remember that these are "sun sign" horoscopes since they rely only on what time of year you were born.

1. Write down (or copy and paste) the five horoscopes into your report, giving each one a number so you can refer to it easily and include a link or reference to the source.

Analysis:

1. D.o any of your collected horoscopes make verifiable predictions? [See Background section above.] If so, list them and describe how you could verify them. (For example: "You may fall in love" is not verifiable, while "You will be reprimanded" is). Pick out one statement that sounds somewhat verifiable, but actually isn't, and explain why not.
2. In your own words, describe whether the five predictions you have collected seem to agree with each other. Be sure to address whether any two of them have something in common or if any two of them contradict each other.
3. Use the specific results from the previous two questions, do you think your sample of 5 horoscopes supports the idea that sun-sign horoscopes are a valid predictive tool? Explain why or why not in a few sentences.
